This mattifying foundation from L’Oreal was also one of my favorites. Although it is a drugstore product, the price can be a tiny bit expensive. That’s the only reason why I don’t use it anymore, but in the future, who knows?
Anyway, this foundation does what it claimed to do on its name which is mattifying for a few hours and it does stay long on an oily skin. We all know by now that an owner of oily skin will never stay looking completely matte after a few hours, let’s be realistic!
Since this foundation is formulated without oil, by the end of your day of wearing this foundation, you will find that it blends well in with your skin tone and you will have that dewy look. Also, you might have a heavy heart to remove it because it looks so good on you!

This is yet another foundation which I have used in the past. Fenty Beauty Pro Filt’r Soft Matte foundation does give you that matte yet soft and close to dewy looking skin afterwards. It does suit with oily skin but only if you have no dried spots on your face.
In my experience, it will amplify the texture imperfections and it will oxidize over time. So, if you choose to purchase this foundation, make sure that you pick one shade lighter than your original skin tone.
This foundation adapts nicely in our country’s humidity and it stays long on your skin. Give it a try if you love high end foundation, you might find it suits your skin the best!

This legendary foundation for oily skin has been raved over and over again, and guess what? It is worth the raves. Although I have never had the chance to use this foundation, there are too many anecdotal evidences that prove its amazing-ness.
This is the foundation that you will need on a hot, sweaty day because not only it will stay on your skin for a long time, but it will keep your skin from looking like a frying pan with frying oil. You will also not need touch ups with this foundation because it’s built like a dam for your skin.
Although it contains SPF, I think you guys need to know that you will still need sunscreen because that is not enough protection and the minimum amount of SPF should be SPF15. According to AAD (American Academy of Dermatology), SPF 30 is the best to be used because it will block 97 percent of UltraViolet rays from your skin. Remember to reapply after every 2 hours! This vegan foundation is perfect for those with oily skin and love a full coverage makeup look. It offers you a beautiful matte finish while not looking flat. I’ve never used nor have the intention to use the product but I’ve seen some great reviews about it on oily skin. It does stay beautifully on the skin throughout the day and you will not end your day looking like a greasy mess with this foundation.
What’s other awesome thing about this foundation from Tarte is that it is enriched with Vitamin E where your skin will benefit from its antioxidant properties and kept moisturized for hours. Not to mention, it also contains Amazonian Clays which makes this foundation able to stay longer on your skin! (Sephora, n.d.)
It contains a sufficient amount of SPF to prevent your skin from getting the risk of skin cancer or sunburn but you will still need sunscreen for that SPF reapplication. Unless you’re going to reapply the foundation on your face, be sure to carry a sunscreen every time you’re out in the sun!
